We mourn the death of our company founder

Prof. Dr. Ing. Robert Massen
8th Dec. 1943 – 31st Aug. 2023

His life and actions were filled with great pioneering spirit, inventiveness and drive in the field of industrial image processing.
He founded MASSEN Machine Vision Systems and successfully transferred it to Baumer Inspection GmbH. Visionary and charismatic, he always succeeded in meeting his fellow men benevolently at eye level. In this way, he shaped the corporate spirit that still inspires the team at Baumer Inspection GmbH today.
We express our deepest sympathy to his wife Ulla Massen and his entire family.

It is with great gratitude that we will remember him with dignity.
